Coruse Work Set Brief

Our task for the A-s Media Students are to create an opening for a film (2.30m max).

In order to do so we studied about the key elements to shoot a shot that are as follows :

  • Mise - en - scene
  • Camera
  • Sound
  • Editing

Mise - en - scene :

It is a french word that literally means "the action of putting onto the stage"

Camera :

Camera is the different shot angles u take and the meaning they have behind them, for example if a character is displayed from a higher angle than the character it means that , that specific character is weak or has no authority whereas if a character is shown from a lower perspective it means they hold authority or they are portrayed as a strong individual.

Sound :

Sound is basically the sound that is present while making the video or added later on while editing to improve the video and improve the viewing pleasure of the audience
