Film genres are categories that define a movie based on its narrative elements.

There are many different types of genres :

There are 8 basic genres

With type of genre there are certain things that the audience viewing expect from it for example the horror genre

There is dark colour grading ,certain camera shots, mise-en-scene and sound is done in a way to give this eerie and scary feelings to the viewer .
