Genre selection for our film

When deciding on a genre for our movie, our team had to make a number of choices. We ultimately settled on the genres of thriller and murder mystery. The crime genre includes the murder mystery subgenre. The plots usually involve an inquiry into a crime, like a homicide. The stories typically begin with a murder that upsets the balance and end with the mystery being solved, which establishes a new equilibrium.
