 A short film's production involves several different roles. They may consist of:

  • producer,
  • screenwriter,
  • cameraman,
  • editor

As the camera man The role of a cameraman, also known as a cinematographer, is to capture the visual elements of a film.They work closely with the director to plan and execute the visual style of the film, and operate the camera during filming. This includes adjusting the focus, aperture, and framing of shots, as well as adjusting lighting to achieve the desired look. The cameraman also works with the camera crew to set up and move equipment, and may also be responsible for selecting film stock or digital camera settings. A Cameraman and Mise-en-scene both play a vital role in creating a short film, they work together to visually tell the story and create an impact on the audience. The Cameraman is responsible for capturing the visual elements while the Mise-en-scene is responsible for creating the visual storytelling. Together they create a cohesive visual language that helps the audience understand and connect with the film.
